We have been working on making cushions for our school library to make it more comfortable and colourful. Here we are sewing with needles and wool onto hessian. A lot of fun but also a lot of concentration and patience needed. We are only half way through and will update with our finished products later on.

Rippa Rugby
Hearing my name called out, I jumped up, my heart was beating fast like it was going through time. The crowd went wild. Portland School clapped and cheered as hard as they could. I had been given player of the day. Yay! I was really proud of myself. I felt fantastic and held my head high, it was the best sports day ever! Recount written by Rawiri

Inquiry Learning -

Bananas don't actually grow on trees but on plants.
Eggplants are aubergines.
Peas grow in pods on plants.
